Kenya to participate in the Africa T20 tournament

The Kenya National Cricket team left the country on Wednesday for South Africa to participate in the third edition of the Africa Twenty20 tournament group B matches scheduled to be held at the Recreation ground in Oudtshoorn.

Kenya is pooled in group B alongside, the Northerns, Northern Cape and South Western Districts. The East Africans will open their campaign against the Northerns on Friday 16th September, 2016 at 10:45 (local time) before taking on South Western Districts the following afternoon at 14:15. Kenya will then conclude their fixtures against Northern Cape on Sunday 18th September at 10:45.

The finals’ weekend is scheduled for Friday 30th September to 1st October, 2016, consisting of the four respective Pool winners and is scheduled to be played at a venue yet to be determined by Cricket South Africa.
