Advertisement for Fitness, Strength and Conditioning Coach.

Cricket Kenya is the governing body for the sport of cricket at both performance and participation levels throughout Kenya, representing both the men’s and women’s game.

We are seeking to recruit a fitness, strength and conditioning Coach initially on a two year contract who will help us achieve our objective of helping our players achieve their fitness goals and ensure we compete on the world stage.


Development of fitness programs and training of the national squads and age groups in all aspects of fitness on their venue of training.

Coordinate and monitor the effective delivery of fitness, sports science and sports medicine programs as required.

At all times prepare a fitness program for all the players omitted from a squad and/or participating squad and ensure the programs are followed.

Keep a clear report on the fitness of the players to be shared with the coach and his assistants and submit this to Cricket Kenya

To work with the age-group teams and run programs to educate coaches responsible with junior teams on the importance of training for their teams and basic fitness regime.

Periodically expected to conduct fitness assessments in accordance with ICC standardized tests for Cricketers. Facilities/resources for these tests will be provided by Cricket Kenya

Support the administrative at Cricket Kenya office as may be directed by the General Manager.



A minimum of five year work experience

Hold a minimum of level 1 fitness instructor’s course

Good communicator and motivator who can get the best out of the players

A degree (or equivalent) in sports science is desirable but not mandatory
