Cricket Kenya announces squad for the ICC WCLC against Papua New Guinea

Cricket Kenya has announced the Kenya National Men’s squad to participate in the third round of the ICC World Cricket League Championship matches against Papua New Guinea which will be held in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea, from the 28th – 30th May, 2016.

Eight teams are participating in this championship where Kenya are currently placed fourth  with six points after four matches behind leaders Netherlands (10), Hong Kong (9) and Scotland (7) who have all played six matches.

Kenya will be looking for crucial points in this double-header to improve on their own position towards qualification for the 2018 ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifiers where the top four teams from this event will earn slots for the tournament. Other nations taking part in this championship include; Nepal, Namibia and UAE
