Cricket Kenya unveils preparatory Australian tour ahead of PNG Matches

The Kenya men’s national cricket team will leave the country on Monday 16th May to play warm-up matches against representative sides in the Australian city of Darwin prior to taking part in the ICC World Cricket League Championship matches against Papua New Guinea in Port Moresby at the end of May.

For the national team, the Australian tour is part of their preparations ahead of the crucial 2015-17 WCLC matches. The two matches against PNG are scheduled for 28th and 30th May, 2016 in Papua New Guinea’s capital city. Kenya currently sits fourth on the championship table with six points, four behind leaders Netherlands who have played two more games.

The tour of Darwin will involve three one-day matches on the 20, 22 and 24th May, 2016. The itinerary is as below.
