Mount Kenya University sets early pace in inaugural Kenya University league.

Mount Kenya University (MKU) has set the early pace with a 100 percent record from their two opening fixtures in Cricket Kenya’s –Kenya University Sports Association (Nairobi Conference League) CK-NaKUSA Twenty20 League 2015-16.

MKU on four points will seek to extend their winning run this weekend when they take on the winless Co-operative University at the Sir Ali Muslim Club ground this Saturday 17th October, 2015. MKU have hit the ground running with convincing with wins over Multi Media and Kenyatta University and will seek to add Co-operative University to that casualty list when the umpire’s call play this Saturday.

Co-operative on the other hand, is playing its second fixture after the opening day defeat to Africa Nazarene where they were bowled out for 34 in pursuit of 67 posted by the Rongai-based campus.

In other matches, United States International University (USIU) will be taking their bow against Multi-Media University at Ruaraka Sports Club from 9am while Africa Nazarene looking to bounce back from last weekend’s narrow loss to JKUAT entertains St. Paul’s University at Goan Institute.
